"My husband is descended through Thomas DRING and Sarah GIFFORD, through their daughter Mahala DRING who married Richard MARSHALL, through their daughter Rebecca MARSHALL who married John HYDE, and through their daughter Emma HYDE who married Philip WHEATON. Philip and Emma were Den's great grandparents. I am retired and Den retires next May. We live in Horley, Surrey which is quite near (too near!!) to Gatwick Airport. We have two "children", Paul (36) and Lynne (32). They both live quite close to us so we see them frequently. Paul married Lorraine in June 1999 and both work in Computers. Lynne is a Scientist working in Brewery Research and she has a partner, Dave, who is a Landscape Gardener. Den is interested in Steam Trains, old vehicles and the like. He is very supportive of my family history fanaticism and has recently been entering up the details of his mother's family, so you never know...I might get him really involved eventually!
