Nathaniel Dring and Phoebe Hutchinson Dring left a good number of descendants in Clay County, Kansas, including the descendants of Mary "Polly" Dring who married a Hubbard, Helen Laura Dring who married a Yarrow, and Sarah Miriam "Minnie" Dring who married a Hammond. Helen Laura Dring and Sarah Miriam Dring are my great-great grandmothers through my fathers side. Mary Polly Dring is a great-great grandmother to my wife. Hence, our second son's name includes the name "Nathaniel."
