This is a picture of Nathaniel Hutchinson Dring (son of Nathaniel Dring and Phoebe Hutchinson) and his family. This would have been taken about 1895. Clockwise from the standing lady: Alice (Yarrow) Dring, holding Alice Hazel; sitting man is Nathaniel Hutchinson Dring Sr.; girls on right are Phoebe Ellen, below her is Constance Kate, and then Daisy Dora; baby being held by his father is Nathaniel Hutchinson Jr.; Alice Myrtle, Ralph Harold (known his entire life as "Boots"), and Clara Gladys, who was found on their doorstop, a newborn only one or two days old. Having no way of knowing her parentage, they took her in and adopted her. Alice died in child birth with their 12th child. Madonna Taylor
