The Burgess Family
Contrary to my usual custom of talking about my ancestors, I am proud to introduce my wife and children. From left to right, Rory, Christine, Tamara, Heidi and me. Photographed in July 2000 at Waterford Crystal Factory in Ireland. A brief history, I was born in Wood Green, North London, second son of John and Joyce (nee Hewitt) Burgess. My fathers mother was Lilian Johnston, daughter of Esther (nee Dring), daughter of Thomas & Esther (nee Seekings) of Woodhurst (My link to "the Family"). I married Christine (nee Driscoll) at St Catherines Church, East Tilbury, Essex on 29th March 1986 and blessed with daughter Tamara on my fathers birthday in 1987 at Orsett, Essex. After several moves, we settled in Eastbourne, East Sussex. In 1997 our twins Heidi and Rory were born.
