April 2002 Results
There were some good performances from Hastings AC athletes in the Crawley Open Track and Field Meeting held on Saturday 20 April. In the Senior Mens age group Mark Rivers ran well to come 2nd 200m in 23.2 secs. whilst Mark Vidler had a great run to finish 1st in the 800m in 1min 57.5 secs and Dan Wicks was 5th in the 3000m in 8 mins 52.2 secs. In the Mens U20 age group James Mountford was 7th in in the 800m in 2mins 5.4 secs whilst in the Womens U20 400m Mieke Howell was 3rd in 59.4 secs(pb) There was a great run from Gavin Bettley who won the Mens U17 race in 52.2 secs(pb) whilst in the boys U15 age group Simon Baker was 1st in the 1500m in 4mins 40.6 secs(pb) and Alex Ambridge recorded a personal best time of 2mins 19.4 secs in the 800m.
